Attendify Acquired by Hopin 💙
We’re very excited to announce that Attendify has been acquired by Hopin! We’re thrilled to be joining forces with a company that puts innovation first at a time when the industry is going through such an incredible transformation. We believe that we’re approaching a historic inflection point, wherein organizers, marketers, and technologists have the chance to come together to create a stronger, more resilient, and innovative event industry. It represents both a monumental task and an unprecedented opportunity, one that Hopin with Attendify, is ready and eager to tackle.
Attendify’s journey started in 2011 when Artyom, Andrey, Eugene, Alexey, and I decided to make mobile event apps accessible and affordable for any event. It made no sense to us that apps were so difficult and expensive to create (costing over $100k in many cases) but also, at the same time, were clunky, unintuitive, and unreliable for attendees. By launching our initial product, we began to democratize mobile event apps, to the point where most of our early customers thought Attendify was “too good to be true,” priced at $49/month for a branded app. :) Ultimately, we have supported over 9 million attendees at more than 20k events globally with 90k+ organizers registered on our platform, which has since expanded far beyond mobile apps.
When the industry changed in 2020, it was difficult to see so much collective pain and hardship experienced among event organizers and marketers, and we certainly felt it internally, as well. But, like any other challenging time or situation, the best way to find a path out of it is to innovate, and the industry certainly did just that. Now with a clear vision of a return to normalcy on the horizon, we have an unprecedented opportunity to keep this momentum going and transform the future of events by making them more:

- Engaging. Tapping into the unique power of events, our mission is to connect people to the communities and conversations they care about, no matter where they are.
- Data-driven. We believe in the vast potential of unlocking today’s event data to increase attendee value and drive business results for organizers and marketers.
I’m so excited to work with Hopin Founder and CEO, Johnny Boufarhat and all of the incredible people at Hopin to make this vision a reality. Hopin is the leading all-in-one event management platform, and with Attendify, Hopin will enhance its event marketing suite, so organizers have the best tools to grow and engage with their audiences.
I’m also extremely proud of and grateful for Attendify’s talented, creative, resilient, and incredibly hardworking team. I’m lucky to have met and worked with a group like ours; we’ve been through so much together and learned so much along the way. Knowing that we’re going to continue building together on a new stage and at Hopin scale is both invigorating, exciting, and honestly, humbling.
