When Majano and Founder John Siracusa planned #BankSocial’s inaugural conference in 2016, they knew they wanted an app that could make communication between all attendees not only practical, but especially organic. Using the app at the conference wasn’t really optional: attendees had to download the app in order to gain access to such things like the Agenda and Speakers. Majano and Siracusa even provided a demo session on how to use it. Majano and Siracusa also added a personalization layer to the app, mentioning and thanking every attendee individually to welcome them to the event. The app became a focal point of the conference.
