How do I build my app? How long does it take? v

Building an app is easy and straightforward. All you’ll need to do is enter some basic information about your event, follow the prompts to build and preview your app, submit it and you’re done. Many of our customers are up and running with their own custom apps within 30-90 minutes. Just sign up here and start building your app by following these simple steps.

Can I update app content instantly?v

Definitely! You can update your app’s content and features (speakers, schedule, sponsors, etc.) and even add entirely new sections at any time after submitting your app. The updates are unlimited and will be instantly reflected in your app.

How do I invite my attendees to download the app? v

We will create a branded landing page for your mobile app that will contain:

  1. Links to download your app from the App Store and Google Play
  2. A field for your attendees to enter their mobile phone numbers and get a direct link to download the app
  3. A QR code that attendees can scan to download the app

Most of our clients send out links to their landing pages so their Attendees can easily download the app.

Can I moderate my app’s private social network? v

Of course! You decide who can create profiles in the app, which external social networks can be linked and moderate the content users post on the Activity Feed. You can even revoke a user’s access to the app altogether.

Can I send push notifications? v

Certainly! The notifications can be sent to all attendees, groups of users or even specific people. Learn more here.

How do I set registration up for my event? v

Setting up registration is free, easy and takes just a few minutes. If you don't already have an Attendify account sign up and when you're on the dashboard click over to the registration tab. Configuring registration for your event is a simple, step-by-step process. If you have any questions click the chat button on the lower right hand corner and we'll be happy to assist.

What management tools do I have access to? v

Once your event is published you have access to a full suite of management tools including the ability to customize your landing page, add tickets, setup discount codes, see real-time analytics and more.

How is Attendify's registration system and event app integrated? v

Attendify's event apps and registration system are natively integrated. In just a few clicks your attendee list will sync and new attendees will be added whenever they purchase tickets. Attendees use the same email they used to register to use the event app which makes it easy to onboard everyone.

How do I print badges? v

Attendify includes a number of automatic reports, including a badge report which you can export in seconds and send to any badge printer.

What kind of support does Attendify offer? v

What are your security practices? v

Where are your data centers hosted? v

All of our services run in the cloud and are physically located in the USA. Attendify does not manage our own routers, load balancers, DNS servers or physical servers. All customer data is stored in the USA.

How is data protected within Attendify? v

All data sent to or from Attendify is encrypted in transit using 256 bit encryption with the latest recommended secure cipher suites and protocols. Data encryption at rest is available in our Enterprise Package (contact us at support@attendify.com to get more details). Data is stored in multi-tenant datastores, we do not have individual datastores for each customer. However strict privacy controls exist in our application code to ensure data privacy and prevent one customer from accessing another customer’s data.

How is payment data stored? v

Attendify does not directly store or process payments. All payments made to Attendify go through our payment provider, Recurly. Details about their security setup and PCI compliance can be found at Recurly's security page.

I have special security requirements and my company requires a security review, can you help?v

Yes! Our enterprise agreement includes the ability to perform security reviews and when necessary customize agreements. Contact our sales team and we’ll be happy to tell you more about the process.

I’m with a non-profit organization, do you offer a discount? v

Yes, if you represent one of the organization types listed below, you’re eligible for a discount.

  1. Charitable Organizations (20%) - Organizations that are part of the 501(c)(3) classification and have a mission of addressing various humanitarian and social causes (fighting poverty and incurable diseases, supporting children and elderly, etc.)
  2. Educational Institutions (10%) - Educational institutions that are part of the 501(c)(3) classification are also eligible for a discount.
  3. Religious Organizations (10%) - Religious institutions that are part of the 501(c)(3) classification are also eligible for a discount.
